Futon Planet Introduces Videos To Help Customers

Futon Planet has introduced videos and audio clips to help futon shoppers make informed buying decisions. “We realized that customers had questions that were not being answered,” says Gabe LeBlanc of Customer Care. “Only a percentage of customers were calling up, using our live chat service or emailing us to get the answers to the questions that would help them make up their minds. So we decided to try something new.”

Some many technologies are being pumped into websites, it is often easy to wonder if more is just overkill. “I don’t really think so,” says Gabe, “in this case we are giving little snippits of the same type of information a store front consumer would hear. The information is more personalized. Plus the Internet customer has the choice which video reel to watch and which to ignore. Plus if a customer wants, they can stop the video clip at any time without feeling rude.”

Futon Planet continues to seek methods of helping consumers find what they are looking for quickly. With time at a premium, we all can appreciate any help we can get to make our purchases and move onto the next task.
